When are your meetings?
We meet the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Gateway Club Alamo Room. We generally meet from 1530-1630 on the 1st Tuesday and from 1130-1230 on the 3rd Tuesday. Please visit our SharePoint site for the exact dates and times of our meetings

How much is it to become a member?
Our membership is a one-time fee of $20. We do not have annual dues. Your membership includes a JBSA-Lackland 5/6 polo shirt.

Why should I become a member?
Our members have a lot of really great perks. Members are put onto a special email distro list and they receive special emails about different leadership opportunities as well as our meeting minutes. We also give our members first dibs on registering for events. Only paid members can run for a council or committee position, vote, be part of our 1-1 metorship program, and lead our events. We have many events throughout the year which we will select NCOs from our meetings to lead, but they must be paid members to do so.

When are your elections?
We seem to have elections all the time now especially with our new committees that were activiated just this year (2015). Our executive committee elections are staggared throughout the year to keep continuity through the council. Our committee elections for primary and alternate will be every December.

Why should I come to a membership meeting?
If you are looking for leadership opportunities, this is where you need to be! Our meetings include a little of everything. Our meetings generally start of with voting, then a guest speaker to give us a "life lesson", and then our various committee leads will be asking for volunteers to help support our events. Our fundraising, community outreach, and professional development committees are constantly preparing new events and will be selecting members to lead these events from our membership who attend our meetings. That's how our slogan "empowering others" came to be!
